Knox Makepeace

Professor Makepeace went to graduate school with Thomas Fell and have been a business acquaintance, and sometimes partner, with him for years. The two are opposite sides of the same antique coin: Makepeace, the purveyor of rare antiquities with questionable provenance; Fell, the expert in determining that provenance. When Jan Joyce-Cleveland contacted him with concerns about his old friend's well being, Knox reached out to some of Fell's friends to see if they have heard from the man recently.
