(b 1900, 36 years old) Professor of psychology, specializing in abnormal psychology. A devotee of Jung, he is driven by revenge for the suffering of his father, Professor Emeritus Nathaniel Wingate Peaslee, who has been in a sanitarium since his return from Australia.
Thoughts on the Documents
Dr. Peaslee was present at the initial meeting with the investigators on August 23rd and took notes in shorthand. He sees no sign of mental defect in Armitage and argues for independent verification of the documents' contents. "Whether produced by an unknowing Armitage or another entity in imitation of his handwriting, it is the content of the documents, not the means of their production, that should preoccupy our investigation."
