Tyler Freeborn

(b 1906, 30 years old) Assistant professor of anthropology; participant in the Western Australia Expedition. A self-proclaimed Communist and radical, Freeborn clings to his tenure track by his fingernails against a storm of inter-departmental opposition. Devoted to field work, but his professional research sometimes takes precedence over Inquiry work.
Thoughts on the Documents
Present at the initial meeting with the investigators. Dr. Freeborn floats the theory that these may be forgeries by someone meant to subvert the Inquiry. "Even enemies motivated by supernatural agencies might attack by non-occult means, gentlemen."
