Sixty-one years from now, things have changed. Magic has returned to the world. Corporations and nations rule with equal power, each trying to come out on top. The distinction between man and machine as become blurred: street warriors with blindingly fast reflexes, deckers who can interface directly with the worldwide computer matrix, riggers who immerse themselves in machines.
